A good deed!!

some one in work has got to get rid of a 2 year old cockateil as they have found out that a member of the family is allergic to feathers. I already have 4 budgies so have said that i'll take her on. Has anyone any advice about cockateils and how to introduce her to the budgies?

I'm not sure if it's a good idea to introduce the two species...do a lot of research, check up on some bird forums, they'll tell you all you need to know.

thanks everyone. Well they have been introduced. (started by keeping them in seperate cages in the same room) Yesterday they were all let out together and the cockateil keeps on running away form the budgies, i think they are too noisey for her!! Only Lemonpie the Queen Budgie is a bit put out but i think theres some kind of respect going on there, she knows not to mess with anything bigger than herself. Getting a digital camera for xmas so i'll post some pictures then!!
