A Few Questions.....

I planted my tank for the first time with Broad Leaf Ludwigia, Golden Llodelia, Cryptocoryne Lutea, and Green Lloydelia. I bought these as they were advertised as low light and easy to grow. I also replaced my light with a Coralife 6700k dual light. It is a 30 gal. tank. I am not using any CO2 or special substrate, etc. I have sand substrate and it is a 29 gal. tank.

What should I use as plant fertilizer that is fish safe ?

Second question is that some of the leaves have fallen off and floated up top. Is it safe to toss them into my Severum tank to eat ?
