A Few Questions

Hi I bought some Amazon swords off eBay a few weeks back planted them in my tank and they are growing very well, one of the plants came with a small stem on it and now has grown up to the water surface and is starting to grow its own swords (sorry if that’s wrong) and now I am noticing it has roots coming out as well, my question is, is there anything i should be doing now as i cannot find a guide on this forum for things like this. So if anyone has any answers i would appreciate your help.

Plant the new plant and it should grow on fine, some suggest splitting it from the original plant helps the original plant grow better as it no longer has to provide for the baby one.
