A Few Questions On Blue Rams.....

ive got 4 german blue rams in my 39gal tank with a few other tank mates.

I was wondering....
do the rams get more colourful with age?, they are just over an inch.
At what age would they start to pair?

rams do get more colourful with age. i've got ram fry that i've grown on to just over an inch not including the tail and they are showing signs of pairing up. one pair are actually showing the start of their spawning tubes. they are about three and a half to four months old but unfortunately i didn't log when they hatched
