well fist of all.. i am new to this website and basicly the whole fishkeeping idea

well 2 days ago i bought a blue cryfish its quite happly dug its self a nice whole under the heater where it likes to hide my only question is,

its always trying to escape from my tank idk if thats normal or something is wrong its made it above water climbing the air hose pump line
i dont think my tank is too small for it its 50g tank. just some help there

secondly i want to know seems its only little how often will it molt and how can i tell :S help on that will be good.

also i hear that its a semi-aggressive but i have it perfectly liveing with some anglefish and two catfish not much bigger than my cryfish they
basicly sleep right becide eachother and the lobster dosent bother i keep it well fed so i think thats the reason i also know that its not adviseable to keep them
in a tank with bottom feeders in it

thanks :D

1) Sounds like you may have poor water quality and/or lack of oxygenation, that can cause inverts to try and 'escape'.

2) Molting im not 100% sure on bymy shrimp malt approx once a month, i wouldnt worry about it, just leave them to it.

3) Not a good idea to keep these guys with fish, heard alooot of stories of them getting large and eating unsuspecting sleeping fish. Personly id wait untill its a decent size and make yourself a nice crayfish cocktail.
