A Few Of My Corys

Just wanted to post a couple of pics of my first 'batch' of Corys. I ended up with 6 Peppered Corys over the last two weeks, all very young, and all are settling in nicely and decided to stay still long enough for a decent pic!

Lovely. I also have 6 peppered. Great little characters. Can't quite tell from your photo how you have attached your anubias but be careful you haven't buried the rhizome in the gravel as it may rot. I think they prefer being attached to bogwood or rocks.

lol, my Peppereed corys look like monsters compared to yours. Mine are just under 3" big each.
But yours are really cute

Watch their wee barbels on the gravel,it looks rounded enough,but depends if they start digging around...

I know now how the Anubias is supposed to be planted, however I haven't quite decided how I am going to proceed in terms of planting the tank so I'm just leaving it there for now. It has survived like that for 2 months so I figure it is ok for now. I think I'm going to get a couple more small pieces of wood and throw in some java moss, more anubias, and some crypts in a low tech tank.

I know sand is optimal for them, but I had already set the tank up / They seem do be doing well though, and I know that many others keep them in gravel and they thrive, so I hope they will continue to do well!
