Wow the little green one has come on lots, he looks great.

thanks. he was a bit of a slow starter but since he deveeloped a liking bfor shrimp hes really started to grow and colour up
i will keep trying to get a better side on shot to show off his turquoise colours around his face trouble is the little git gos to the back of the tank when he spots the camera. its a bit of a nightmare getting a decent pic through 2 foot of water

anybody care to hazard a guess as to exact species? my best guess would be efasciatus but not certain

Yep deffo a common green (Efaciatus)

cheers glenbo thats what i thought just wanted comfirmation. ive got very little experience with greens . it was the spotting on the flanks that had me confused ive never seen it before . but then again the only greens ive seen before were adults.
