I really love dragons and love to draw them. and considering i love fish so much aswell i decided to draw a sea creature type dragon based on a weedy sea dragon (bit like a seahorse).

i havent finished it yet. any colour suggestions for the fins and such would be appreciated.

what do you think?

That's a very nice picture you are doing, What about blue and red for the fins, or blue and gold? I thought about red and gold but I think it might be too bright for the rest of the picture. can't wait to see it finished.

Beautiful drawing  I wish I could draw, have a hard enough time with stick figures :*)

How about different shades of blue lighter to darker with maybe a little purple tone to it. Almost irridescent sp? looking.

I also love dragons & gargoyles.

Cool Dragon,

I Like Dragons aswell, and did a whole term on Dragons in art back in school, will have to see if i still have some of my Paintings - My clay Sculptures got smashed by Mum, They took ages and looked like the ones you find in craft stores.

i was thinking of something like that. hmm...needs more thought though.

glad you all like him btw :D

edit: kimbowee it just takes practice. if you want to learn easy ways to draw dragons there are plenty of drawing tutorials on the net. just search for them in google :)

LOL, I have tried the drawing tutorials, the step-by-step guides, drawing classes & even tracing. I am just not very good at it. If I am working with ceramics or clay its another story, that I am good at.

Have you thought anymore about what colors you wanted to go with? Was thinking even possible yellowish-gold for the fins.

Would love to see the pic when you are done!
