does anyone know anything about (and could give me info) on cycling a tank using food flakes in an empty tank?

I tried it before, and it is messy (I tried it using flakes) - it is much cleaner to do fishless cycling using pure ammonia from your pharma store...

At least around here, any grocery stores that carry medicines also sell those as well...
