one of my 29s has a REALLY bad snail problem. i have 6 cories in it and don't really have any room for any type of loach in there. first question is i have 3 clown loaches in my 55, about 2.5 to 3 inches each, (after they grow a little more they will go in my 210) how big of a snail are they abel to eat? adn second question, please look at my list of fish in my 210 and tell me if any of these fish will eat them. thanks for any help you can give.

2 rope fish
1 gold severum
1 green severum
2 jurapuri geophagus ( i know that is not the correct name anymore)
2 bp(who spawn every 2 weeks, no babies though)
1 turquois rainbow (who must move soon, everybody is getting to much bigger than him)
1 african butterfly
2 rainbow sharks
1 blue gourami
1 gold gourami
1 pictus cat
1 common plec(my scoobie, he is why we got the 210)

oh yeah, i don't have the nerve to squish them on the glass. i really get grossed out just picking them out.

sorry it is a gold gourami, not honey. i typed this list at 5 am a few days ago, and hadn't had any coffee yet. :*)

I thought the list was of the fish in the 29g  I don't think any one would eat snails, but I'm afraid your pictus or ABF will eat your honey gourami

None of them are snail eaters that I know of, though your snails might not extend their antenna and eyes often because of nipping.

Clown loaches should clear up your snail problems within a few weeks. How much snail a clown loach eats depends on an individual fish. All will eat some, but some will prefer blood worms, or cichlid pellets, while others prefer snails over anything else. Try it. It can't hurt, since they are only 2.5-3" long, they will be fine in your 29 gallon. Unless your 29 gallon has disease/parasite.

Yea, that'd be a good idea. Nice size tank too...

in yr 210 I mean
