I'm used to seeing fish with very picky water chemistry requirements, but imagine trying to keep these fish at their preferred pH range! You'd need some test kit to measure that accurately!

oh no! im keeping mine at 6.69999980926513!!!!!!!

This is quite a coincidence. I found a new LFS on Friday that specializes in Halfbeaks, rare Livebearers, and other rare fish. I saw these guys in there, and I was considering getting them once we moved. I can see me sitting there, being obsessive compulsive over it. ".69999980926513...nope...69999980926515....DARN YOU!". Though, my new house does have a natural pH of 6.7. They'll love me. :p
