A Betta With What Cleaner?

I am cycling my 2.5g tank to put a male betta in there but what bottom cleaner can i put in there with him?
something that will eat algae, missed food etc

How about an apple snail? 2.5G isn't very big so it limits what you can put in there. Perhaps some shrimp but they might get hassled by the betta(depending on his temperament).

It's your job to clean algae and not to overfeed. Anything added will add to the problem.
