How many betta fish have you owned in total and what where there names? It seems like they are becoming very popular!!

Ill start;

I have had four male bettas in total;
1.)Lunar (rip) from LFS, VielTail
2.)Spikey from LFS, Super Delta, Double Tail Geno,
3.)Oscar, from B.Paradise Plakat,
4.)Sparkle, from B.Paradise Halfmoon/Superdelta,

They have been popular for a very long time, on and off.. I've had about 30 so far, I think...

I used to have/ breed bettas a few years ago, haven't had them for a long time until yesterday, when I bought a new boy I think in total I've had well over 100 including offspring, needless to say I didn't name them all, lol. But my new boy has been affectionately named Squishy by my boyfriend

Levi, my first one a blue veiltail. I sucked him up the siphon by accident and he never recovered
Then Rufus, a red veiltail who lives at work and is still going strong.
Tango a black/gold/purple halfmoon who replaced Levi but died of mouth/face rot the day after I got him
Then the 2 new ones Lotus, a white halfmoon and Peacock a mustard gas halfmoon.

I'm on my first and already eying others every time I visit a fish shop.

I'm planning on dividing my 60liter tank into three when I get my largest and supposidly final tank.

Hmmmms.... Well, first, was Tropica. A blue/red female combtail Betta. ^^; She died from being killed by Metamorphix.

My next two, were Queenie , a pinkish-orange roundtail, (I'm pretty sure), female Betta, who died of fin-rot; and Aqua, a blue female Spadetail Betta. ^^;

My next few, were Royal , who died of ammonia poisoning because I didn't know anything about cycling, back thens, Metamorphix, and Queenie; all three were red/blue veiltail female Bettas. ^^;

Next, came Mr. Wimpy Fish. He's a pink-bodied, with red & white fins, veiltail male Betta. ^^;

My very last, but not least, , is Libra; he's a pinkish-red bodied, with red fins, and little bits of green on his scales and some green on his top fin, and green edges to his tail, a deltatail male Betta. ^^;

Total: 8. ^^; I have 5 living, atm. Amazing what only 8 months of fish-keeping can do to yous! ^^; XD

11 girls, still have 10 of them, angel,midnight,rose,blossom,violet(rip),peach,lucky,minnie,saphire,topaz,ruby.
2 boys,
Shimmer blue/green veiltal rip.
Alphie red veiltail

I have four betta fish. . .two males and two females. All are from LFSs. The males (one VT "Blue" and one double-tailed "Mandarine") are from a family owned shop and the females (not sure of type - named "Lilly" and "Luna") are from Petco.

My very first betta was a lovely steel blue/red halfmoon male I called Bob then I got a female don't think I called her anything??! she was the wild type colouring really stunning blue and red, think she was a veiltail I bred her with Bob but only got one surviving fry that grew to about 1 cm then I found him dead in the heater guard that female then died of dropsy and Bob died shortly after I placed him in my community tank, these were my very first bettas and I was still learning...
Next I got spikey a beautiful crowntail, blue and red too, after I got a blue/green spade tail female whom I called Tallulah from the lfs, got some very nice combtail fry from them both are sadly no longer with us now.
I also breifly had a beautiful red halfmoon but he got dreaded columnnaris
Now I have a marble halfmoon plakat male called Samson, a marble halfmoon male called Alice, a halfmoon line green mask female called Saffy and a plakat dragon geno female called Luna plus lots of fry of varying ages from all these fish! most of my fish have been bought online a couple of which I got from an lfs.

Kofi - VT - pineapple (at first I misunderstood the term for pineapple, but he does actually have the black edges to (some of) his scales!)

Inky - VT - really dark blue (now with LittleMonkey)
Dizzy - VT - purple (rip)
Pinky - VT - purply-pink cambodian
Dinky - VT - metallic blue
Wizzy - VT - peachy-pink cambodian
Fizzy - VT - cellophane
Pixie - HMPK - blue with red wash
Dixie - HMPK - pale blue

Nero, Pixie & Dixie are siblings.

Awaiting
3 MG boys (Enigma, Charisma & Imagi) all HM's and female siblings (Lilly & Lolly) of 2 of them (just fingers crossed they make the trip well).

So, that'll be 17 I've owned (techincally own the 5 awaiting as they have been paid for and are in transit).
