I was given a 90 gallon tank with stand, light, cover, 3420 lph sump, decorations, etc. last Saturday. I have seeded the tank with filter media and a large decoration from my 55 gallon tank. I have 7 juvenile platties in the tank and have been adding water from my 55 gallon tank each day to get the cycle going. I am going to put 6 marigold swordtails and 3 new sunset M.M. platties in the tank with 12 harlequins. I am considering another 6 harlequins and perhaps some Zebra Danios. I would like a shoal or two and some other community fish that will be compatable with the inhabitants.
With the size of the sump it needs to be something that won't be bothered by water currents.
Any suggestions, I want a peaceful community with some activity.

cardinal tetras? The blue red combi would be different to what you have listed already.

Also, maybe some bottom dwellers? Cories? 6+ of any cory would be fine.
Botia (loach) are nice I think. Also preferred to be kept in groups.

A pair of gouramis for a centrepiece fish?

You can get about 5 or 6 long finned black tetras they get big and they look cool but depending on the size the fish you have are they might eat them. And you could get a common pleco they clean the tank really good and look cool at night when they come out and look for food.
