80l Tank For Females, Would You Suggest....

Ok, I have 3 female bettas now, Angel and 2 new ones. I tried them together but they started fighting so i seperated them and my mum said i can have my 80l tank for the 3 females, i was going to divide the tank it 3 sections (about 6gals each) so they dont fight. But i like the idea of a sority because the fish might wana be together, i could get 6 bettas for a sority but i cant have them fighting if they fight i have no space to seperate etc. So would seperating be alright? into 3 6g sections?

you could go for about 8 IMO

putting 3 together isnt a good idea as they cant spread out aggression very well.

when you add them all to the tank they will create a hierarchy.

Hmm, i dont want to risk 8 females incase they fight, thats the problem here. If i did would be a big risk. i know 3 females might not work as it didnt and they got a bit nippy and started fighting so maybe those same 3 fish will start fighting again if reintroduced with 5 more bettas?

8 would be better than 6 as it spreads out aggression if they do fight.

i agree the mre you have the more it will spread out agression.

If you are putting two into an established tank with one already in you are goin to have problems as its her space and she doesnt want two new ones taking over so its best to introduce a few to a tank togther i.e. 5 in to the big tank as then no one has space and they can sort out a hirarcy of whos boss

she took the female alredy in there out rearanged the tank and put them all in together.
