My second "Frag tank" is almost ready I will be growing on a few frags in this tank but it seems a shame to have this tank with no fish in I was thinking of adding a breeding pair of clowns (Small ones) or something would rather a breeding pair what else would go in that size tank bare in mind it will have a sump as well (16" x 16" x 12" DSB/refegium) so about 30 - 40L in the sump as well.

you wont really find a small breedign pair. pus they are likely to try and host and annoy your frags.
a pair of breeding banggai cardinals would be nice, they are small and endangered so you ould be doing something good. The male carries the eggs in his mouth too

Endangered in the ocean but not in lfs  there are tons of them :p what about a pair of assessors, athough don't expect you would find a pair. oh I know, a pair of orchid dottybacks :good:

Or just some wee cuties like Catalina Gobies (then again... they do like it cooler....) and tonnes of like gobies that are cute as buttons and flasher wrasses  I have 3 at work that i picked out at TMC today, a 'normal' flasher wrasse that they call a seafighter wrasse, a 'blue line' flasher wrasse and a really cool 'hifin' flasher wrasse!

I really wish TMC would not do that. Scientific names are much better and have less chance of confusion. I have seen all of those in my LFS, bugs me as you have to get the books out to check them unless you have a copy of the stock list.

Was just thinking the same thing - I wonder what they really are?

Tina, do you have a copy of their stock list?

Seffie the stock list I am talking about is the one that is faxed / emailed to my LFS every Wednesday. If you look on there, they have the daft name then next to it is a box with the scientific name.

All TMC stockists seem to use the daft name that TMC give them as a label for the tank.

It drives me mad, I told the lady this in the LFS, she said most people prefer the common names. A label with both would be better IMO.

I did once find a stock list on TMC website but you cannot generally just get to it, I think it does give the scientific name on there.

I may have looked when I searched for TMC tank bred clownfish.
