I have an 8 gallon biorb (30 litres) and was wondering if i could have celestial pearl danios, peacock gudgeons and a snail. I thought maybe:

1x peacock gudgeon

6x CPD

1x netrite snail

What do you think? Is there any other centerpiece fish i could have other than a peacock gudgeon?

Peacock gudgeons are bottom dwellers, and if the biorb is a spherical one the floor space won't be enough. They need a tank with a floor of at least 45 x 30 cm (12 x 18 inches) I have 1 male, 2 females and although they do swim higher in the tank when I put food in, they spend most of their time within a couple of inches of the tank bottom. And my tank has a 107 x 45 cm (42 x 18 inch) footprint.
Celestial pearl danios also need a tank at least 45 x 30 cm, but they could be OK depending on which of the biorbs you have.

There is another option - a betta, either male or female, on its own and not with celestial pearl danios.

good suggestion i love bettas but in my 15 gallon i have 3 female bettas as part of a sorority i may get more bettas or add endlers guppies i also have a single female betta in a 6.6 gallon. So i was looking for something different. Thanks though

I should have realised you already have bettas from your user name :)

CPDs should be OK. Or if you have very soft water, one of the Boraras species - though with these you'd need around 10 of them and plants of some sort to make them feel safe.
It is difficult to suggest a centrepiece fish for an 8 gallon tank....
