8 Gallon Guppies Mate

My tank is fully fish less cycled. Now I am planing to bring fish for it. After lot of research I like guppies they are very colorful and I also I like betta fish. But lot people experience says that they are not good companion. So can somebody suggest me some good fish which can go with guppies or betta. I am ready to go for one of them

I also wanted to know some active and colorful fish for my 8 gallon tank. I wanted to put maximum fish but different kind not single. I am confuse lot so please help me out

No I don't want to divide my tank as my tank is already small

as a rule male bettas are best kept alone, in a well planted system, preferably live or silk plants.
some may tolerate a group of corydoras which are happiest in groups of 5+

you could keep guppies in a 3 females to 1 male ratio, but expect lots of babies!!!

a group of females kept alone is very pretty, although some of them may already be pregnant when you buy them, as I have experienced!!
