That's a good buy and a beautiful tank. Unfortantly, I don't have much more room for tanks in my house.

No stingrays or arowana's in that tank my friend, its not wide enough.

Once a tank gets over 6 feet long you have to also increase the width otherwise all you are doing is creating more stocking room for small/medium sized fish. The basic rule of stocking large fish is to allow a ratio of Lx4 Wx1.5 Hx1.5 so a fish that was 12" long would require a 48x18x18" tank as the minimum requirement to give it room to swim freely. An 8x2x2 is restricted to having the same sized fish as a 6x2x2 as the width has not increased and you can have a maximum of a 16" long fish in either tank.

Personally i wouldnt buy a tank over 6 foot long unless it had a minimum width of 30 inches.

I dont even know exatly what i would do with anything that size, i still think the 67gal im going to get is big. Although i have always wanted to see what 100 odd brightly coloured tetras would look like. Then after that i could just clear the tanks of any fish i wanted at the lfs.

I'm guessing not a lot since it comes complete with fish - doesn't say what fish though.

If I had it from new, I would put all my plecs in it (except the spotty dudes, they'd get lost in that) and have a major plec tank with some hatchets on top for a bit of interest.

I would have a huge malwai community in there. I'd get like 8-10 species and stock heavily so I could watch the interaction w/larger family groups. Oh drool, that would be awesome.

I wouldn't have any money to stock it with fish because I'd have spent it all on the lighting that it doesn't come with.
