Im thinking of getting a 70l wall mounted tank for my birthday but are wall mounted tanks a lot of hard work? I already have a 35l tank which i am working on currently so i dont want something that will be a lot of extra work than what is needed.
What sort of fish would be suitable for a 70l tank? i saw some amazing red and black oscars today and i really like discuses. I would love to have a big shoal of cardinal tetras as well.
Some advice would be appreciated before i make a decision.
Thanks :) x

I think oscars get WAY to big for a 70l, and have a feeling the tank is to small for discus's aswell. Could be wrong though

yea, too small for discus aswell, wall mounted tanks are bad ideas, fish prefer a normal rectangular one, this will be too high and thin for them.

oh right okay, what would be good companions to a shoal of cardinals tetras? I have just bought 6 of them to go in my other tank and ive fallen in love with them! I have 4 gouramis, 2 opal and 2 dwarf which are lovely, one of opals have amazing markings so i would love some of them in another tank too. Any other suggestions?

I think if you dont have a mounted tank, maybe make a really strong shelf you might be able to have more options :good:

I dont like these kind of tanks, it makes me think of them in there position being lifted sooo high in the air and then put in a room.

no, wall mounted tanks are a poor choice, and i imagine a bugger to maintain. why cant you just get a standard 70 litre?

For the money a 70l wall mounted costs you good easily get a much bigger tank. The bigger the tank the more you can have in it - a shoal of cardinal tetras would look great.
