6ft Tank, Will It Fall Through The Floor?

Hi, I want to know if a 6 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot tank will go through the floor. The tank would be above a basement. If it would, how would I be able to reinforce the floor at all?

Also, the house isn't modern at all, and is a victorian house, thought that might be of some help

i live in a 500 year old cottage and have a 20 gallon tank in my room on the top floor and the floor boards had begon to bend so i had to move it to a safer place. so i dont think a 6ft by 2ft by 2ft tank would be safe. you could try adding supports on the basement celling say beams but the best thing to do would be to a get a structural enginer in to asses the strength of your floor. but u will more then likely have to have a metal support going acrooss your basement celling
