6ft all in one systems

Can anyone recommend a good brand of aquarium?
All in one, tank, filter, stand etc?

I’m in Australia if that makes a difficult

I don't know of any shops that sell 6ft all in one tanks in Australia. Most shops carry smaller tanks in boxes but bigger tanks are usually sold as a plain tank. You then buy a stand, hood, light, heater and filter separately.

What sort of fish did you want?
How much room do you have?

You should be able to buy a 6ft x 18inch wide x 18 inch high from most shops. Or bigger if you like (6x2x2ft), but bigger tanks will be thicker glass and more weight and price.

It is all about cost, the glass in my 6x2x2 tank was $1200 without anything else, very few people will spend that kind of money on a tank, so shops don't stock them.

I was just unsure of what brand. It’s for cichlids

Sorry but you need to get properly aquainted with your current partially cycled aquarium and have fish that are suited to it and get a few years fishkeeping under your belt before spending thousands on a massive aquarium

The big aquariums are a huge investment in time and finances....learn the craft on the smaller aquarium so that you avoid the same mistakes already made on that one before you start going larger.

I just did a google search, buy one of the dozens of secondhand ones, they are really cheap.

To be honest I don’t think it’s your business my finances or what time I have.

I think you need to get out mate and see the world. Stop hanging around your computer.

I don’t think he was attempting to have a go at you.. he was giving you a piece of valid advice that I agree with. You clearly are quite new and learning (like we all were at some point) and getting a 6ft tank is the equivalent of trying to run before you can walk
