Hi

My 60L tank has been running for a few weeks now and I was wondering if I could "fit" anymore fish in the tank (I'm not looking to add them just yet)

I've got
2 Black Mollies
3 Danios
3 Silver tipped tetras
2 x Otocinclus

Thanks for your help

You are best upping the numbers of the fish that you already have.
6 Danios
6 Silver Tip Tetras
5 Otocinclus

Do you know what sex your Mollies are?

If you look at the fin under the belly, the male will have a pointed fin held close to his body and the female will have the fin fanned out.

Ok.. So I think I have a male and female.

(Excuse the poor quality photos)

Ok.

You could get some Guppys?

Its a very new tank.
I thought Guppies were quite delicate?

You are right. First pic is female, second is male. It is best to keep at least two females to each male, so it would be best to add another female or two.
Upping the numbers of your other fish would bring you to your stocking level, so I wouldn't add any more.

Are my mollies going to breed?

More than likely although most fry will get eaten if they have nowhere to hide.

Sorry to bump this again.

I've now got

3 Black Mollies
2 Danios :)( one died)
4 Silver tipped tetras
2 x Otocinclus

I've also got some tiny little snails that no matter how hard I try and get them out I always find another one the next day.
So I was looking at getting something to eat them.

I've been told a Clown Loach would be ideal, but I think they grow quite big so is it suitable for my tank/other fish?

You could try Assassin Snails as their main diet is pest snails. They only get about 2cm so are ideal for that size tank.
