5gal tank

What should I put in my new 5gal tank? It it heated and has lights, but no filter or pump. Is there anything that could live with the male crowntail betta I will be buying soon for it?

Maybe an ADF but I dunno to be honest because there is no filter and it's small to begin with. I would have said pygmy cories but they'd need a filter.

if you add a small biowheel filter it would make all the fish happier and they are cheap. Then you may add a couple of pygmy cories...but still.

Ok then...I will go out at the weekend and buy a filter as well as some fish - you suggested Pigmy cories?! What are they like? I have never kept them before. And I did also think about an ADF but I already have a few of those.
How about 5 tetras or danios? Danios aren't fin-nippers are they? Bcoz my male crowntail betta will be in there too!

No not tetras or dnaios! Danios need a 10 gallon tank minimum for a shoal because they are so active, and your tank is too small for 5 tetras. Remember the inch of fish per gallon rule? It's not the best, but if tetras are about 1 inch each then... WEll, you do the maths. And I'm not sure if tetras are nippers... I know at the LPS they had a VT betta with 100 or so tetras, and his fins looked nipped

Maybe I'll just stick to a betta and an ADF!
