wish the 10 and 26 had better picts and both still need a back ground and i will make a list of all the fish later

Any ideas on how to make it better or what else would make good tank mates with what i have, I also want to do more real plants i have a few and ideas on what would be easy and not take alot of extra care want to stay low tech not ready for c02 infusion yet. I look at alot of the tanks on here for ideas and wow some are amazing i got a long ways to go but that is half the fun is evolving your tank.

any feed back on plants thinking about getting some wisteria

have to say your first tank was wow but it got spoilt by the smaller tank.. i think the small one looked a bit tacky... try making it a bit more realistic if you can...

How about moving the fry into one of the smaller tanks and moving the adults into the larger tank it seems odd that the fry get the big tank yet the adults get the small tanks

They do look nice though imo :good:

the fry are in the large tank they where born there, and the larger plattys are to be moved but i had a out break of ick i want to make sure i got all gone before i bring them over.

the large tank is my last, the other 2 are my learning tanks, they started this whole mess, if i was to do it all over i would just have the 55 and 10 as a hospital tank but since the 26 bow is up and running and very stable it will be like it is for awhile.

have to say though if i went back to freshwater i would be well chuffed if it looked like the large tank..

well i update the fish list on the 55 need to upload the new photos of the tanks

wow this was a great flash back. Tanks have changed big time
no longer have the 10 or 26 bow
55 is 80% real plants now
stock is swords mix ( most born in the tank)
4 pepper corys
5 emeralds corys
one male beta
same rubber lip
3 red cherry shrimp
4 ghost shrimp
3 white clouds
1 zebra dano
and a few snails

overall this been a great tank just started doing diy co2
update picts soon

but now the real fun starts just got an amazing deal on a very large acrylic tank so now the revamp comes as i build my stand for that
92Lx20wx23H
tank is drilled  3 places has a seaclear canister and a little giant pump should flow 800 gals an hr so should have good turn over
stand is in the works it will be a metal and have 4 doors and 2 deep drawers so i can storage for fish food and other supplies
Now lighting is where i am stuck
part of me says do a groupbuy led setup with 3 watt leds should give me plenty of grow for plants i plan to do.

Wow, welcome back, looking forward to seeing the newer pics, we all love pics.  Plus I much prefer real plants.  Ps3Steveo, knows all about lighting and makes them to order too.

92Lx20wx23H this is inches so about 175-180 us gals
planning on going closed loop as it is drilled and already setup that way.
price on the tank was so right 250 us for tank pump and filter all bulkheads and tons of other plumbing

picts of 55 will be posted soon till then here are some from about weeks ago 5

the vail grass is much bigger now and the diy co2 is amazing plants look so much greener

Glad to see you upped the number of cories per species, they prefer being with their kind and they're much more fun to have that way :)

yea they like being groups i had terible luck with them except one, i was getting really bad stock but the ones i have now are doing great.
