Im still fairly new to this but i bought a used 55 gallon aquarium soon after i clean it i added my water to it, but as i got half way see the face and the back side of the tank started to stretch out.....is it normal should i be concerned???? Does it make if a difference if its a tampered glass aquarium? Any help or information would be appreciated.

Does the aquarium has support strips and cross members on the top?
These are bits of glass that are glued to the top of the tank and go from front to back and along the sides. They stop the glass from bulging outwards when you fill the tank.

If you post a picture of the tank we can have a look at it. But if it's bulging outwards when its only half full of water, then it probably doesn't have support strips and will need some glued in.

Im not too fully sure but
Here's an overview of the entire tank
And a pic from the top rim.
Still newish so im hoping these pics kinda help

I need a photo from above the tank looking down on it. Remove the lights from the top of the tank when you take the picture.

This better

I see my problem now....im gonna have to drain my tank and either repair the bridge strip or replace the entire trim

Yep the picture was fine. A nice break in the cross member that normally stops the tank bulging out sideways.
