55 Gallon Pictures

Just setup my 55 gallon....adding biospira this weekend then adding a couple bottom feeders...once cycled will be adding my blood parrot cichlids and red tail black shark Tomorrow I am getting 2 terracotta flower pots to the tank.

Your RTBS will love that structure in the middle of your tank. And im sure he will outgrow it!

I think maybe a couple more plants, bigger ones deffinatly would finish the tank off nicely, That and a background and you have a nice tank

i have a nice background with Lots of Mosses and plants and bogwood. It looks really nice especially with the suction cup plants i have.

would complete the look but I'd go for plain blue or plain black.

i agree with wolf.

aquascaping looking good, especially the central rock piece you have, (i want one!! ) and a plain blue background should set it off nicely, especially with the bubble wall you have going.

I think i'll take your advice and just get a nice deep cobalt blue background. We're goin to petsmart tonight to get some dog treats and a better thermometer for the tank. Anyone reccomend a good digi thermometer?

Got the terracotta plants, they didnt have the blue background but i'm gonna check out another petsmart tomorrow and hopefully they will have it. Or i'll just go to my lfs that i go to and i know they have it as well.


anyway...i got a digital thermometer as well and the last piece i needed for my aquaclear filter that im stickin on the other side of the tank. It has a Millenium filter on one side for up to 55 gallons and this aquaclear is up to 70, i figure that it'll keep the big tank nice and clean for my BP's as they are messy eaters

just my 2p i think you should remove the roman pillars decoration. Move the plant bot further back and it will fill the gap nicely and still look nice
