55 Gallon Decoration?

Hi...
I'm looking for fake plants to put in my 55 gallon tank, any suggestions on using plastic or silk (which one to use)? Also, any suggestions what to use, I know everybody has there own taste but I would like some ideals.

Marina do good fake ones, but why not try some easy to keep real plants? They use up excess nutrients in your tank and they add an extra dimension to your hobby.

I have a 50g tank and my centrepiece is a very large piece of bogwood which stands up and looks really good. Then I have some rainbow rock which looks really good and makes places for the fish to hide. As my main plant I have 2 plants which grow onto another piece of bogwood (they're really easy to maintain and never look unhealthy!). I also have quite a few other plants scattered around the back of the tank but I like to keep the front free so the fish have open and sheltered places (and I get to see them that way)

I use fake silk hanging plants which sucker onto the side to hide my filter tubes which although fake they look pretty good (they're made by jungle).

I think though you just really need to shop around and find what suits you but also you have to consider the type of fish you will be keeping and what they like too!
