I would get two angels and maybe 6 cories. With the BGK your space is pretty limitted. He will take up a lot of space.

Looks good. I'd get 5 juvy angels and let them grow up together. The potential downside to this is if you get a pair out of those 5, they may become extremely aggressive and you may need to move them to a breeding tank, or rehome the other 3. In a 55g, if you have enough hiding places and territories, that may not be a problem.

Stocking list looks good - I might add another loach, just b/c the more the merrier with them. There *may* be a problem with the BGK and pleco, I don't know enough about keeping the two species together (same with the loaches on 2nd thought). I know BGKs are not tolerant of other BGKs, but don't know if that conveys to any species that even resembles a BGK in terms of shape - might want to run that question by the oddball experts in that section.

I would add a shoal of smaller fish (though not too small) like some of the "taller" tetras, to keep them from becoming an angel snack.

LOL - 3 different replies and three different answers :p

ok how bout this...

2 rams
2 angels
6 yoyo loaches
5 corys
1 bristle nosed pleco

I think I will not have the bgk.

I dont like tetras very much. What else could I add to this?

What about some dwarf gouramis? And how about some platys? How many should I get if they would work? And maybe 5 tiger barbs.

Tiger barbs are very nippy and would most likely nip at your angels. You could get 2 male platys and 5 female platy's. Or a dwarf gourami, 1 male platy and 2 or 3 female platy's.

That sounds good. Ok how bout this.

2 Rams
2 Angels
6 Yoyo loaches
5 Corydoras
1 bristle nosed pleco
5 platys
1 dwarf gourami

Sounds good to me. You can check out my angels on the other post if you want.

Personally, I would ditch the gourami and up the school of platys slightly for some more of that nice color. Plus, the fry will make nice feeders for your rams and angels.

Why not a dwarf gourami and 2 to 3 more platy's? 2 males and 5 or 6 females?
