54 Litre Tank

I’m setting up a 54 litre tank. The measurements are 60x30x30 and the water hardness is 5dh. I was recently told I could keep 8 neon tetras, 8 chilli rasboras, 4 dwarf otocinclus and a couple of blue velvet shrimp. Is this ok? It’s a planted tank. I don’t want to overcrowd.

Also, if you have a 54 litre tank (or something similar) what’s do you have?

That sounds about perfect. If anything I would increase the number of chilli rasboras to about 12.

Personally I would not add the otos or shrimps until the tank has been up and running a couple of months. These are both sensitive and need to go into an established tank.

I am planning a 54lt at the moment, I would drop either the Tetra or the Rasbora and increase the shoal size of the one you're keeping, I think one larger shoal would look better and be healthier.
