Hi everyone. ive has a massive outbreak of whitespot that has pretty much cleared the tank so i thought i'd do some rearrangement while it's short on fish.

made a java moss carpet for one corner (too low light for riccia! same theory though) plus a slate cave and made use of a load of java fern plantlets that have recently sprouted.

tank stock: 1 common BN, 2 albino BN, 3 female & 2 male guppies (mostly hiding)

obviously the airstone isn't on all the time, 4 hours a night with the moonlights just to top up the oxygen for the fish (co2 recently installed)

my cave, carefully siliconed together with java fern plantlets pushed into the gaps

java moss carpet (will be in a few weeks anyway)

Looking very nice!

Is that all you have in it? Any fish that actully swim around?

What lighting is that again James - is appears very yellow/green?

Did you order those Daylight tubes I mentioned?

:*) 4 tubes, kind of whatever i had in the cupboard.

15w - Freshwater and powerglow (7500K and 18000K - dont believe that for a second but the theory is it should penetrate deeper)

20W - 2x sunglow - hence the yellow, theyre horrible and will be replaced with the ones in the link you sent me when i have some cash spare.

er yes the guppies tend to swim around...

i did have 2 silver dollars, 2 clown loaches and more plecs but the whitespot cleared me out.

the theory is i'll have breeding BN's all over the bottom with lots of fry and a zillion guppies in the mid and top section when they start breeding. fingers crossed anyway.

then i'll have lots of fry to exchange for hard goods at the LFS. 3 tanks gets expensive.

I see. I vaguely remeber you mentioning Flora-Glos too at one point, even more orange than the Sun-Glos.

Let us know when you get the new Daylights - I may swap my FWs.

Forgot to say - tank looks very nice, especially considering its early life. I love cubes.

wow great looking tank,

the bn's look like their loving all that room only to share with a pair of guppys'

Great tank

Josh

That is a pretty tank, so nice and not messy, unlike mine.
