50+ Fry and counting

My Swordie has dropped over fifty fry and at least 20 eggs that did not quite develop all the way and it looks like there are a few more to come. At this point I am not sure if I want them to be fry or eggs that did not quite make it. Egads I did not not expect this many since I only found 13 in her last batch 17 Dec.

Keep an eye on water quality as alot of fry can soon alter your water stats.

I released the Mommy and used a syringe to extract the 26 under developed eggs. The rest of the tank got a bit of a treat. As near as I can tell there are between 60-70 fry little buggers wont stay still so I can count them. I am going to read the instructions on my digital camera to see how to take extreme close ups and then try to count them. I think the Mommy may have had a couple of fry to go but she was getting quite stressed and trying to escape so I figured that I had more then I could probably keep alive anyhow so no need to make Doris suffer any more.

What kind of sword do you have. Currently i'm breeding neon swords. post pics.

I have Marigold Swords(so I understand) they are all orange and the male has the bottom half of his sword black. I do not know how to put a picture in a post only in the avatar and on my info spread. The Swords there are Doris the new Mommy being chased by Boris the Daddy(Dilbert is the monster looking through the back of the tank). I am working on how to post a picture but I am computer challanged so resizing the photos to fit takes me a long time but I am trying to get better since I want to show off my stuff.
