5 Scalare Angels In My 55g

That is what is happening. They are all small about 3cm 1.25" bodies. One has no "mate". Should I be removing any fish for "fish humanity" reasons? All 5 have some fin tearing from fighting but nothing serious.

They're only babies, yet in your signature it says "medium breeding angels"? Are they actually breeding at that size? Even so, I wouldn't say 1.25" was medium sized for an angel - that's definitely a "small" lol.

If they are spawning - I'd remove the odd one out as he'll only get bullied, and think about getting seperate tanks for the pairs too in the long run - I've just had to split up my two breeding pairs (rehomed one sadly) because they were fighting - and they were in a 6ft tank

Incidentally, mine are medium sized, at about 3" across the body (not including fins, Goldie's probably 4"), they're still a long way from fully grown.
