Hello all

In the past 2 months or so we have bought 9 females. Can you believe that it now looks like 4 of them turned out to be males?

We were ok with it until last night when it appears that "Candy" (see sig) could very well be a male. I was up till 2am changing the divided tank from 2 to 3 compartments as we have a new male arriving today from Modaz. We will then have 7 males with 6 places to put them??????

Of all the females, we are surprised to find that Candy is possibly a male. She doesn't look like a male. She must have been a juvi when we got her and only now is she/he maturing and showing his true colours! I suppose this could be why the other females have been showing stress stripes recently, although Candy has been in there with them for 2 months.

I'm now sat here looking to see if there's any more wall space for another tank???????

Awww, what rotten luck!
There is always room for more tanks though but maybe just a ickle one  I have a 5 gall, containing Bastion on my coffe table..
Good job we bought a big one  Who needs wall space!!!

Dunno about being lucky? Yeh they're cheaper, but doesn't end up any cheaper in the long run when i keep having to get new tanks etc....

I think if Candy does indeed end up as a boy, we'll have to re-home him :(
