Hello all,
I got a fluval chi over a year ago and have had goldfish living in it, which is a very big no no, i know. which is why i have had my eyes open for a large tank to replace it with. and i found one! but now im trying to decide what to do with the chi that will now be empty... And im thinking Dwarf Puffer fish. BUT i think that they (i would like 1m and 1f i know, heavy planted/lots of hiding spots)would like the rectangular tank that i currently have my betta in. And i think the betta would like the Chi. It has a slower current, etc etc but im worried because it has less surface space for him catch his breath. What do you think? And to make things even more complicated, the tanks are in 2 different locations, the rect/betta being at my work and the chi at home. I would like the betta to stay at my work. how would i manage this switch? i have to empty the chi out and clean it, from the dirty goldies, but if i put the water from the rect in it would it be ok to put the betta right back in it once the water has warmed back up? so many questions!
thanks for any help whatsoever!
