5.5 Gallon; Planted?

Hello everyone,

I recently posted in the Chit-Chat board about possibly setting up a planted one gallon (now going to do a 5.5 instead!)

I would like to know of plants that I could use that are easy to care for.

Also, does anyone have any suggestions as far as substrate, filtration and ESPECIALLY hoods?
