Fluval 39"x24"x18" tank (drilled) - Capacity 283.7 litres
Dimensions 100w x 47d x 133cm height aquarium and cabinet

Hagen Fluval FX5 External Filter - Ceramic hoops/Filter wool as well as the sponge already around the fluval.
2 x 150W halide & twin blue actincs aquaspace light.
V2 1000 Skimmer - (Carbon in the outlet box (for easy changes)
Filled with R/O water (painfully slow doing this yourself but worth it ££ in the long run, as it only cost £55 of ebay for a new kit)

2 inches deep with white marine sand, then topped with 2 bags Live Sand

DIY - Nitrate Reactor
DIY - Phosphate Reactor

Circulating water around the tank with a Koralia 3

Calcium - I'll be using rowa kalk - until i decide on a calicum reactor...

Test Kit: Sera Aqua Test Box - Basically for the broad range of tests..

Today 20th March at around 11am after the halides where on for about an hour I collated the following test results:

PH :8.0
KH :8
NH4+NH3 :0.5mg/L
NO2 :0.0mg/L
NO3 :10mg/L
PO4 :0mg:L
Cu :0mg/L
Ca :400mg/L

Salt - Red Sea Coral Pro - Level currently at 1.024

I have not yet added any buffers..

Has anyone got any suggestions on how frequent i should perform these tests?

Looks real good, now you just have to move that sand to the side, test for sg and temp and then in goes your live rock woo hoo......... let the pet rock watching begin

Hi again... right went out and bout £140 of live rock..

As you can see it made no dent..lol

So went out to a different store as the 1st i had bought all they had, and now it looks like

Another £135 later

All LR was 9.95 per k

Im now feeling the pain!

yes, it is strange, I can see them when I am replying but not when looking at the main post!! Ah, your img code is not there. Just had a fiddle with the code on a photo of mine - I suspect the IMG part at either the end or the beginning is too far away from the address shut any gaps

Just looking at that rock were this pest anemone is.. there is about 6 attached to it! marvelous..lol.. hmmm... I guess no such animal coud eat/kill these?.. I will have to do this?

No it's a blow torch or soldering iron i'm afraid - do it as soon as possible though - you dont want them to spread
