4Ft Upgrade

Hi, I have currently got a 70l stocked with 5 tiger barbs and 5 serpae tetras have persuaded the wife to allow me an upgrade to 4ft, looking for stocking ideas...will up the number of barbs to 10, like the look of rams, kribs, denison barbs and bosemani rainbows, what would a good combination be? Not sure about how suitable most of those fish will be with tiger barbs I'll leave that to someone who has more experience with them.

Bosemani rainbows would work, and you need a decent shoal so six ish or more. I believe denison barbs would be too big and too active for this tank, what's the capacity/dimensions?

As for rams or kribs you could probably get one but not both species - but this all depends on the tiger barbs as mentioned before.

Louiseness is right about the Densison's IMO, They grow large (around 15cm mark) and should be kept as a minimum of 8 per tank. These fish are peaceful in nature and are so because of the shoaling numbers, you would only be able to get 3 at best in your set up and would more than likely become aggressive to gain leader status. I think these are out.

I don't think the Bolivians would work in this set up either im afraid, but some one else may be able to say otherwise.
