4 Foot Tank Project ;)

right well i currently have a tank thats 4'x1.5'x1.5 with turtles in it,
and the turtles are moving to another tank which leaves me with a decent sized tank to play around with.

i want to get a juvenile oscar, and an Asiatic knifefish.
i can get hold of these two fish in a heartbeat as the LFS have a 5" very friendly asiatic knife, and oscars are no problem to get hold of,
and im thinking of moving the 4" ornate bichir over from my malawi tank,
its just the tank will seem kinda bland, and well you know i like nonbland tanks,

any ideas of what i could keep in there as tankmates?
i was thinking a large shoaling barb or giant danio's
any interesting catfish? or bottom dwelling fish?
surface dwellers?
anything thats not too small to be seena s food and interesting

I think the oscar, knife fish and birchir will max that tank out tbh.
