Hey all. I a few months ago I setup a tiny 8"x6"x6" tank out of necesity for 2 pairs of endlers, while I got a larger tank setup. This is how it looked then:
After moving them accross to the larger tank this got left alone and filled with algae and all sorts. Decided to set this up again today as a little planted project to see if I can keep it going without an algae outbreak.
I'm not really going for an iwagumi style setup. What I wanted was for it to look like the large rock has been split by the eleocharis growing through it. Like a hill side with weathered rocks on it if that makes sense
Can't wait for it to start to grow out and thicken up... Lighting/filtration is the same (13w compact, Azoo mignon 240 lph HOB), substrate still Eco-Complete.
As for livestock, I might keep some cherry shrimp in it, but I want it to grow out more before I consider adding anything. Its too small for fish IMO
