39w Tube In A 54w Controller?

I've ordered myself an Arcadia Twin lamp 54w Controller. I happen to have 2 new 39w arcadia t5 plant pro tubes already at home. What I'm wondering, can I run these in a 54w controller? (I'm guessing no, but I thought I'd ask!)

Hell no! You'd probably burn the tubes out pretty quick, and risk an electrical fire!! I'm no electrician, but I wouldn't do it.

We're running 2x 24W T5 compacts from a dual 36W controller.

Not sure how the standard T5 ballasts work but the compacts only drive what you plug into them apparently.
