Hey guys hope everyone is well, I just want to see if my community tank in trying to build is safe and compatible and if I can get any suggestions if I can put more or less or any other fish. Yes my tank is all cycled (0,0,10-20 Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate. PH 7. Trying to bring the PH down a little)
I have a 37 gal with plants, sand, AC50 and a separate sponge filter.

1 angel fish( wife wants this as the centerpiece so can’t argue there)
5 or 6 panda corys
2 schools of either rummy nose, emperor or black neon tetras.

Any more ideas/suggestions y’all can give me? Thanks

What are the tank dimensions (length x width x height)?

What is the GH (general hardness) and KH (carbonate hardness) of your water supply?
This information can usually be obtained from your water supply company's website or by telephoning them. If they can't help you, take a glass full of tap water to the local pet shop and get them to test it for you. Write the results down (in numbers) when they do the tests. And ask them what the results are in (eg: ppm, dGH, or something else).

-----------------
If your pH is 7.0, leave it alone, that is a good pH.

Sorry for the late reply, The dimensions of my 37 gal is 30 in L x 12 in W x 22 in H

Can i use my API Liquid kit to test the GH and KH of my tap water? thanks

The GH/KH test, yes. Most of us find it best to set the tube (as drops are added) vertically on a white surface and observe the colour looking down through the water, rather than on the side.

You might also find this data on the website of your municipal water provider (unless on a private well obviously).
