OMG WOW

very temped to e-mail my b/f and ask if we can have it, I know his reply though, I have to say it be worth the look on his face though.

mmmmmmmm

Hey, the item's in Queens, NY. Too bad it's so expensive, not to mention how I would even get it into my house...

If I had my own business, and had lots of clients coming in daily (say the Video Editing/Production house I would love to start up, that of course I'll be making a million dollars a year at) I would consider a tank like that.... Maybe not one that big, but something along those lines.

And how many platies I could fit in there.....10000gal.....an inch per gallon, 2 inches per platy, 5000 platies!!! At $4 a platy, thats $20000 just for the fish laugh.gif

Seriously, you could just buy 3 and wait a few months.

That tank is too small! A six x six cross section? What a waste! You really can't keep a GREAT WHITE SHARK in a tank of those dimensions. :hyper:

Wow.

That tank is bigger than my house. I could live in that tank, hubby might bump his head though. :D But why live in it when you can fill it?! WooHoo! I would love to set up an amazon swamp tank with some altum angels...

I had better go read a thread about someone's fish dying. I don't want to dwell on a dream tank that I can't have.

Does it have braces, multiple panes of glass? I would think 36 feet would break, unless it is like 6 inches thick. :dunno:

Forget a dead fish thread, I am going over to ebay to see if there is a pic. :fun:

For all the people wondering how to get this thing into their house, I think you have to build the house AROUND it! *grin*

I finally found iton ebay. Wow, what a beauty!

3 12 ft acrylic panels. I can see this fitting nicely into my lifestyle. I don't think my husband would, though.

Maybe if it wasn't so expensive...oh, if only...

think about this first before you get a HUGE tank:

1. is your house wired so that when you run everything will it not blow a breaker every day??
2. can you handle all the food cost of all the fish?

:)

Consider this:

1) I somehow "doubt" any of us will be able to fit it in our humble homes

2) I somehow doubt that you have to consider the cost of food if you can buy that "tank" ;)

:p hmmm well that is true but see knowing me... i would only have the money for the tank then after that it would be collecting dust for like... 3 months before my wallet can recooperate!!! :p hehe then i could buy fishies and stuff!!

Ooo, guess what! My husband said I could get it as soon as I showed HIM the 20k in cash. Isn't he nice? :fun: It would serve him right if I managed it. But I am sure he would start talking about car payments and food and college tuition...
He has no vision.

Hmm, I have seen DIY sites about making tanks. I wonder how much it would take to build a tank like this yourself.

well BIG acrylic sheets cost like 16$ (u.s.) over here at home depot ... so im guessing.... uhhh.... 3,000$ :p jk i dont really know!!
