I have a running cycled 33US long waiting to be stocked. It has a sand bottom and a few fake woods decorations. I will also be planting it with various plants. I would like to get some Bala's to put into it and some other tank mates like I have listed above. I am picking up a 75G or larger tank in the next few months for a community tank so once the bala's get 4-5 inches they will be moved. I'm looking for small bala's 2-3 inches or so. What's everyone's take on this. Like I said I have nothing in the tank and only a vague idea on what to put in it. I was also thinking of a pair of opaline gourami's. I'm not sure yet. I definitely want something I don't have in another tank. The tank is the same size as a 55G US only shorter. Imagine a 4' long 10G and that's the tank. Lots of swimming room for the bala's.
