planting plan

I've kept the hygro between the rotala and ludwigia in the background, but I felt it was time for a change, and I think it looks good between the vallis and rotala now, covering up my CO2 diffuser. Although I think my biggest problem is that the ludwigia grows slowly ( :grr: ) and the right side of the tank looks empty. Might get some more background plants to remedy that, although I hoped the ludwigia would have done the job...

Nice layout, will look even better with denser planting... and I think those vals are too big for the tank... try some Vallisneria Spiralis, that stay around 12" tall.

Looks like a good start, i like the rotala.

I think the dwafh sag might take over and make that tank seam smaller than it is i think you need something smaller to put it in perspective.
I'd keep the patch to the left in front of the bogwood, but i would replace the stuff on the right, with a carpeting plants of some sort, maybe leaving the odd patch.

(i,ve done something simalar with echindorus angustifolius and tenellus, it looked messy and out of perspective here)

The vallis is nice, but you need something to break the two levels up, a java fern possably, as the vallis would shade it from the full light.

Simon.
