300w Heater In 200l Tank?

Hey guys am shopping for heaters for a new tank and found a great deal for a 300w on ebay, that actually works out cheaper then a 200w.

Its thermostat controlled, so would their be any probs using a 300w in a 200l?

That would be fine. Your tank is about 52 gallons so that is just under 6 watts per gallon. General rule of thumb is at least 3 wpg and preferably 5 wpg so it should not be a problem.

Its actually a 55g, I just got mixed up when I worked out litres I guess LOL.
