Hi,

Quick question guys... I have had a 10 gallon tank with 4 Platy's for 3 weeks now. They are doing extremely well and I now want to add 2 peppered Cory's. Is this OK or is it too soon?

Thanks

Do you know what your tank readings are, by chance? Be sure and pick up an ammonia and nitrite test kit and keep a close eye on your water quality for the next month or so.

Yes please test your water as cory need excellent water quality.

Corys also need to be kept in groups of at least 3 and preferably 6 but you definitely don't have room in a 10 gallon for that many. What kind of substrate do you have? Corys need sand or something that isn't rough and jagged like regular gravel. They find food with their barbels and the rough gravel can harm them.
