One question for each of my tanks.
1) In one of my tanks, I have a neon tetra whose developed a spot/sore on his side. It's a reddish/brown circle and looks just like a scab almost. He doesn't seem to be eating much either. I first noticed it after I had to take the fish out of the tank temporarily to do some maintenance. I'm hoping it's just stress from that, but it's been a couple days. Could this be some kind of sickness? I looked up neon tetra disease, and the spot doesn't seem to be white like the pictures they showed. Any suggestions? I've quarantined him, but don't know what else to do.
2) In another tank, I have a twin-barred platy that looks like he's losing weight. All the fish in the tank actually look a little plump even, but he's shrinking and possibly even losing color. It's to the point where if you look carefully, his belly actually goes in a little. He does eat like normal, though. Any concerns here? He I have no quarantined yet.
3) In another tank, I have three rose line sharks and a some rasboras. Love it. But I'm nowhere near capacity and would like to add something -- specifically an angelfish. Do you think there would be any problems with such a combination? On one occasion I've seen the biggest shark get a little nippy, that's about it.
Any feedback would be great. Thanks
