Im planning on using a 11 watt power compact desk lamp from argos, will this grow HC sufficiently? I will use DIY co2 with nutrafin co2 bottle and a nano bell diffuser and some kind of plant substrate, tetra plant or something similar and tetra plant liquid fertiliser (using a dropper i imagine). Also want to try and create a tree shape to grow moss on it its not easy on such a small scale, at the moment im trying cocktail sticks and aquarium silicone, looks like a teepee so far so it might turn into a native american landscape lol

Hhmm, the HC may struggle with only 11W. It might be fine and survive, although you may witness stringy growth. I assume the desk lamp has a decent colour temperature for growing plants?

I dont actuall have the lamp but from its description it appears to be a standard power compact lamp bulb, i have an 11 watt with my PFK nano and also an 11w arcadia one and i think they are both power compacts. I might give it a go still, the tank is only like 6 inches high and the lamp is adjustable so the light will be fairly close to the plants.
