Well, I splurged and went out and bought another bag of flourite to use in this 3 G planted tank.
(not all of it obviously)
Anyways, along with the flourite I purchased a few new grass type plants for it as well.
Things are looking good, except for this white fungus looking slime that I cant seem to get rid of?
I'm going to stop adding ferts for awhile too see if thats the problem.
I'll throw some pics on-line once I can get this under control.

Yep wanna see pics i love mystery slimey stuff :D

No, theres no fish in the tank, the C02 levels would kill 'em in a jiffy.

I thought 'bout dropping the c02 levels so I could add a couple otto's, but not yet...gotta figure this out first, and if I cant, then go the fish method.

Like I said earlier, I'm gonna stop adding ferts for a couple weeks, also drop the C02 levels and shorten the photo period.

I have no idea what this stuff is, it literally looks like white fungus, much like what a frog's slime coat looks like while its sheeding it.
It's all over everything, except the flourite and the few small stones in the tank.

I'm off for the next 4 days, I'll get a pic of that slime on ASAP.

The slime that I'm talking about is now easier to see due to the vast amount of it.
Its green hair algae.
Yesterday I bought 2 otto's and a mystery snail to help clean this mess up while I stop my fert regiment.
I also added several malaysian trumpet snails.
I took some pics, but my piece of garbage, bottom of the barrell, sale priced to clear, blue light special digital cam takes horrible close up pics, so bad that I wouldnt post em if someone paid me too.
I'll figure out a way yet.
